Based on Ian Peters's little paragraph he wrote on amazon in February 22 2011 called "Intersting Plot, Poor Writting" I have to say to some degree that i agree with him.
In Ian's article he how he enjoys reading stories that deal with murder but he wishes that the author wrote more so the author can go a little more slowly and explain things better in the story. I somewhat agree I say this because there was times were I was confused with the characters because there was so many. Plus there was moments when i was confused of what was happening. For example the transition when people would say what they saw but they were in a different point of view. In the beginning when I was reading the second point of view I said to myself why am I reading the same thing that only has little changes. It was not obvious to me that is was people saying there point of view.
But what I think is the the author should take out some point of views and explain the story like the little details more clearly. Like there are still some parts where I am confused. For example did Santiago take Angela's virginity or did she just say his name to her twin brothers because she wants to cover up for her ex-husband's mom?
Anyways this book is good in general although beware there may be some confusing parts.
